Pricing policy
How we work out what you pay. The short version: you see the full price in naira before you pay, and that is the amount you are charged.
Last updated 1 October 2026.
1.Seeing a price
Anyone can get a price — no account needed. Enter where the parcel is going from and to, its weight and size, and we show every available option with its price and estimated delivery time. Get a quote from the home page.
2.What makes up the price
For Local and Express shipments, the price is the carrier’s live rate plus our service charge. The two are shown as one figure: there is no separate booking fee added at checkout.
For DrWaybill Cargo, we set the rate ourselves for each destination country, and the price is shown before you pay.
3.Weight and size
Parcels are charged on whichever is greater: the actual weight, or the size-based weight (length × width × height in centimetres, divided by 5,000). This is how carriers and airlines charge, so a large, light parcel costs more than its weight alone suggests. The booking form shows the weight you will be charged for as you type.
If the carrier re-weighs the parcel and it differs materially from what you declared, the carrier may charge an adjustment, which we pass on with the carrier’s evidence.
4.Optional extras
Insurance is optional and charged at cost, based on the value you declare. Collection from your door, where a service is drop-off, is charged at the courier’s cost. Each is shown as its own line before you pay.
5.What is not included
Customs duties and taxes on international shipments are set by the destination country and are not part of our price. They are usually paid by the recipient on arrival.
6.Currency and payment
All prices are in Nigerian naira (₦). Payment is taken in full, before booking, by Paystack.
Carrier rates are live and can change. Just before we charge you, we check the price again; if it has changed, we ask you to choose again rather than charge a different amount from the one you saw.
7.Refunds
When and how you get money back is set out in our refund policy.
